Traveling Tutus - Bringing DANCE to children all over the world

https://www.travelingtutus.org/
At Traveling Tutus, they believe unneeded costumes and dance attire are a precious resource that can be repurposed to bring joy to children all around the world. By collecting, packaging, and shipping those no longer needed items, they are allowing children all over the world to experience one of life's greatest joys, DANCE!
As a dancer, dance parent, instructor or friend of the arts you know all too well how dance can be used to instill confidence, give joy and foster self-expression. Help share that gift wtih others. A recital costume that was used once and then tucked into the back corner of your closet can do so much good if given the chance. Let your costumes dance again! More importantly, let your costumes bring joy to others!
Traveling Tutus is currently accepting: Ballet costumes, Group sets of costumes for ballet, tap and jazz only. Ballet slippers and tap shoes. New tights (pink, tan and black). They accept children and adult sizes in everything.
Shoe Donations: They are in need of only ballet slippers and tap shoes at this time. When sending shoes, please make sure pairs are attached together. Ballet slippers- please stuff one inside the other. Tap shoes, either tie or buckle straps together.
Costumes: Must be less than 10 years old. Full costumes only. No loose pieces or single tutos, please. No bare mid-drift, bare back or low cut costumes. "Tutu style" costumes are most preferred. Please remove costumes from garment bags and hangers. Please think QUALITY of QUANTITY...at this time Traveling Tutus does not have the capacity to accept damaged, stained or incomplete costumes.
